Wonderful news from Addenbrooke’s

We have had some wonderful news from Addenbrooke’s this week. As you will know, Jess Grant Celebration has been funding a new post since October 2025, to provide music therapy to teenagers and young adults receiving care at the hospital. This role has proved to be very successful and we’re delighted to inform you that when our funding finishes at the end of November, this 1 day a week role will become a permanent post within the Addenbrooke’s music therapy team.
Huge congratulations to the music therapy team at Addenbrooke’s who have driven this post forward and thus will enable the amazing work to continue bringing huge benefits to patients and their families.
We feel Jessica would have been delighted to know music therapy was initiated and now will be continued at Addenbrookes for this age group.
And as Jess Grant Celebration bows out, it’s incredibly rewarding to know the work we have helped start will continue, hopefully long into the future ❤
