Brilliant that we are able to hold a music quiz again this year. Thanks so much to Barry Martin for being our Quizmaster again, and to Cedarwood, Jess’ Primary school, for letting us use their hall again. The Music Quiz was incredibly popular in 2019, so be sure to book your teams in early for what promises to be a great night, raising funds for music therapy in Jess’ memory ❤

Really excited to be announcing we will be holding our first ‘in person’ Cake Sale and Raffle in 3 years on Saturday 18th March. Please save the date and come and join us in Snape for a cuppa and slice of cake, raising funds for music therapy in memory of Jess. Looking forward to seeing you 😀🎸🍰

Unfortunately, we are not able to hold our annual cake sale celebration of Jess’ life this year. Beginning with Jess’ Celebration 3 years ago, this has been a lovely way to come together, catch up with friends and families and remember Jess over a cup of tea and a slice of homemade cake. So, this year, despite not being able to meet in person, we’re inviting our supporters to get together in your own homes or online, and to raise your mug/glass in memory of Jess and loved ones you have lost, treat yourself to a slice of cake, put on your favourite music and take time out to catch up with your friends, families or colleagues.

Although we can’t meet up in person, we would like to create a sense of togetherness and community. We would love it if you could take a few photos of your celebrations that you are happy to be made publicly available and upload these to our Facebook event page at https://www.facebook.com/JessGrantCelebration/events/ over the weekend of 5th/6th/7th February. It would also be lovely if you could let us know what music you are listening to. We will then create a montage of the photos and maybe even a little video for our website and social media.

In memory of Jess and to support the wonderful music therapy service at Ipswich Hospital that Jess’ charity is funding, please donate what you can, as if you had been making a donation at our annual cake sale. Thank you very much.

On Saturday 15th March Jess Grant Celebration will be holding a Cake Sale and Raffle at Snape Village Hall.

Please join us for cake and a cuppa. Entry is free! Donations are greatly appreciated. All the money raised will be used to fund music therapy in regional hospitals and hospices in memory of Jess.

Well, given Jess’ love of music, it couldn’t just be a general knowledge quiz…
Following the success of the first Jess Grant Celebration Music Quiz, Barry Martin has offered to be our quiz master again 🙂 and already has most of the questions prepared! This Quiz was so much fun and even if you don’t know the answers, there’s plenty of fantastic music to entertain you.
Tickets are £5 each and teams of up to 6 people. To book your place, please email anita@jessgrantcelebration.org.uk with your team name and numbers. There will also be a raffle. Please bring your own drinks and nibbles.
